Walkin'

We promised you video, so here it is... This was just this afternoon, and is some of his best work so far. He loves being able to fling himself at us when he gets close enough - lots of fun!

We have lift-off!

No pics or movies at this stage, just a brief update - our little man is now walking! On Sunday morning we got him to let go and walk about 10 feet all on his own, chasing his daddy. He's very proud of himself of course, and grins every time he does it. We, of course, are very proud too - and a bit apprehensive! He's already been on his feet and moving around for a couple of months though, so we don't have much more to do in the house to stop him getting places.

Time goes by pretty quickly, doesn't it?

So yes, the updates are coming a little less frequently these days - I guess mostly because there's less that changes with Ollie on a daily basis, so there's not quite as much to say!

The mobility is coming along quite nicely, and he's much harder to keep track of these days. He's getting much more stable on his feet, and can now balance a little and then carefully sit himself down if we stand him up and let go. So it might not be long before he's really on his way - but of course you never know, he could just do this for ages! He's exploring much more now too, and has taken a keen interest in the contents of the kitchen cupboards. I really must do that baby-proofing that I've been meaning to get round to for months...



There's another tooth on its way we think, a top one this time, so soon he'll be able to actually bite through things a bit more efficiently - Rach is quite pleased that she's weaned him!

We still have yet to find a food he won't eat (just like his dad), and recently discovered that both ice cream and biscuits are very well recieved if they're on offer thank you very much.
